Basketball season is back at USC! On Monday, the Trojans women’s basketball team opened up its 2026-2027 campaign with a matchup against UNLV at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

USC took an early lead and never looked back, outscoring UNLV 29-15 in the first quarter. The Women of Troy finished with a 100-66 victory to begin the season 1-0.

The game marked the return to the court of superstar Juju Watkins, who suited up for the Trojans for the first time since March of 2025. Watkins recorded 21 points and five rebounds 25 minutes of action.

Jazzy Davidson led USC in scoring with 23 points, while also adding five rebounds and four assists. Freshman Saniyah Hall had 22 points and seven boards, while Kennedy Smith and Sitaya Fagan scored 12 and 11, respectively.

The Trojans will now return to Galen Center for their home opener on Sunday against Utah State. Tipoff is set for 5:00 p.m. Pacific time on Big Ten Network.
