South Africa have confirmed their group for the final Test of the series against Australia, with an injury in Gqeberha costing them a seamer.
Anrich Nortje has been ruled out with a mild groin injury.
He hurt himself while bowling in Australia’s first innings of the second Test in Gqeberha, and scans confirmed he will miss the match in Cape Town.
No replacement has been named, and the squad is otherwise unchanged from the 17 selected for the second Test.
The seam options are Kagiso Rabada, Marco Jansen, Wiaan Mulder, Corbin Bosch, Gerald Coetzee and Dane Paterson.
The spinners are Keshav Maharaj, Simon Harmer and Senuran Muthusamy.
Temba Bavuma captains the side, with Aiden Markram, Ryan Rickelton, Matthew Breetzke, David Bedingham, Marques Ackerman and Kyle Verreynne the batting options.
South Africa won the second Test by an innings and 31 runs to level the series after losing the first by 214 runs.
Play at Newlands starts at 10:30 on Tuesday 27 October.
