For the first time in 232 days, Arkansas basketball will face an opponent today inside Bud Walton Arena.

The No. 13 Razorbacks host No. 12 Gonzaga for their first preseason exhibition on Saturday, Oct. 24. It'll feature a sideline matchup between friends John Calipari and Mark Few. Calipari was one of the three presenters for Few at his Naismith Hall of Fame induction ceremony, along with John Stockton and Grant Hill.

This exhibition will also give Arkansas fans their first look at a roster filled with eight freshmen against meaningful competition.

Playing one of the top teams in the country in the preseason is not new for Arkansas. In recent years, the Razorbacks hosted 2024-25 No. 1 Kansas and 2023-24 No. 2 Purdue. The Hogs won both matchups.

This will be the first of two exhibitions for Arkansas this year. Calipari's squad hosts Memphis on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
