Fleetwood handed another Premier League home tie after Arsenal giant-killing as Liverpool welcome Bournemouth and Man City face Bradford: CARABAO CUP QUARTER-FINAL DRAW

Fleetwood Town will host another Premier League side in Everton or Newcastle in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

The clash, the pick of the ties in Wednesday's draw, will see the League Two side face another top-flight team at Highbury Stadium on Lancashire's west coast after the Cod Army sensationally knocked Arsenal out of the competition on Tuesday night, winning 5-3 on penalties.

Despite dominating the match, the Premier League champions were punished for not taking their chances, and Fleetwood clinched the biggest victory in the club's history in front of their 5,000 jubilant fans.

Everton host the 2025 winners, Newcastle, on Thursday night to determine who will travel to the minnows.

Elsewhere, holders Manchester City have been handed a favourable home draw against League One Bradford City.

Enzo Maresca's side edged past Brighton on Wednesday, beating them 4-3 on penalties.

The game finished 2-2 after City twice came from behind to level the tie and ensure their name was in the hat for the next round.

Liverpool, who edged past Chelsea on penalties at Anfield on Wednesday, will host manager Andoni Iraola's former side Bournemouth.

The Cherries decisively beat Aston Villa 3-0 to secure their passage to the quarter-finals for the first time in eight seasons.

Winger Amine Adli fired home in the seventh minute at the Vitality Stadium to set Marco Rose's side on course for a fifth consecutive win in all competitions.

Cherries captain Lewis Cook added a fortuitous second early in the second half before striker Alvaro Rodriguez sealed a third consecutive 3-0 victory following the same scoreline against AC Milan and Manchester United.

And Crystal Palace, who eased the pressure on manager Pierre Sage with a victory over London rivals Fulham on Wednesday, will face Sunderland.

All quarter-final ties will take place during the week commencing December 14.
