Makhmud Muradov was a far cry from his UFC career tonight as he took on six out of shape men in one night – winning with ease.

If the question were ‘how many civilians would it take to beat a former UFC middleweight and current OKTAGON champion’, then tonight the answer was only established to be ‘more than six’. Muradov barely broke a sweat over a collective two minutes of action in this bizarre fight put on by G MMA.

Usually, fights of this nature will involve a washed up fighter like Mariusz Wach. However, what made this all the more surprising is that Muradov is a relatively active and impressive fighter who just dethroned Will Fleury for the OKTAGON light-heavyweight belt, with a middleweight shot scheduled.

Makhmud Muradov defeats six men in two minutes in weird fight

Unlike the Wach fight, Makhmud Muradov wasn’t asked to fight all six men at once. Instead, his fight with the Kotlar family was one after the other as he first faced one particularly large individual before going through the rest of his family.

The entire ordeal ended up going on for just shy of six minutes, including the changeover of opponents. There was less than two minutes of legitimate action, and it seemed that Muradov was going particularly easy on them.

He would primarily shoot for takedowns and begin some light ground and pound, with most of the Kotlars deciding to tap to strikes instead of tasting the power. Muradov really didn’t break much of a sweat, and it remains to be seen what exactly the point of the event was.

He luckily avoided injury and will now move on to take on Krzysztof Jotko for the OKTAGON middleweight title in December. Should he win, he will be a two-division world champion after his win over Will Fleury.
