Nearly a month on, police officers from Greater Manchester Police’s Transport Unit are still investigating the incident and have now released images of two men they want to speak to.

A force spokesperson said: “Officers from our Transport Unit are investigating an assault which occurred on the Metrolink on the Media City line following the Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspurs match on October 10 2026, and believe these two males may be able to assist our enquiries.
