Cowboys have a franchise-record 14 straight games with 20 or more points allowed

The Dallas Cowboys have applied to themselves the nickname of “greatest offense there is.” While that may be debatable, the team has produced another trend that can’t be denied.

Via NBC Sports research, the Cowboys have allowed 20 or more points in 14 straight games. It’s the longest active streak in the league, and it’s the longest streak in franchise history.

Although on the surface the Cowboys have drawn a favorable opponent on Sunday in the 2-5 Cardinals. But, in recent years, the Cardinals have been a spur in the Dallas saddle. Arizona is 8-1 against the Cowboys, dating back to 2008. The Cardinals also have won four in a row against Dallas — and four in a row at AT&T Stadium.

In 2025, Arizona’s third and final win of the year came in Week 9 at Dallas, when the Cardinals beat the Cowboys, 27-17, on a Monday night.
