Arsenal return to Premier League action on Saturday with the visit of Everton. It will be the Gunners' first game without Bukayo Saka after he was injured against Bayern Munich in midweek, but they can keep up the pressure on league leaders Manchester City with a victory.
The Gunners spent the best part of £200m on reinforcements to their squad over the summer but could be in line for more spending in January. Whether or not they make additions for the here and now, they already have some top talents on the way who they hope can contribute further down the line.
Victor Ozhianvuna, Andria Bartishvili and Edwin and Holger Quintero are all on their way to the Emirates Stadium in 2027. They might not be the only ones, though, with a couple of top European talents attracting attention.

Arsenal scouts were present in France this week to monitor Aleksey Batrakov, according to TEAMtalk, and the Russian international gave them plenty to be excited about. The 21-year-old equalised for Galatasaray away at Lille before his team-mates added further goals in a 4-2 win.
Batrakov only moved to the Turkish club this year, joining for a little over £20million after starring for Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premier League. He scored his first goal for the club in their Champions League game against Barcelona.

Liverpool are among the other clubs believed to be monitoring the 21-year-old. He is understood to have a £50m release clause and it could take the full amount to convince Gala to part with a player who has already started to bed in.
Viktor Gyokeres' struggles in front of goal have prompted speculation about further additions in attack. One of the latest names to be mentioned is Monza striker Gustavo Varela, who has eight goals in eight games in all competitions in his first season with the club.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners are among several European sides keen on the Portugal Under-21 star. Benfica are among the others, with the Primeira Liga side said to already be wondering if they made a mistake letting him leave for Serie A over the summer.
Varela, whose father Fernando played international football for Cape Verde, has been touted as a potential long-term successor for Cristiano Ronaldo at international level. He is still waiting for his first senior caps but has already scored four goals in seven Portugal Under-21 caps.
