Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love leads the NFL in passing yards and is on pace to set the team's franchise record for single season passing yards through eight weeks of the 2026 season.

Love has 2,246 passing yards, placing him 100 yards clear of Matthew Stafford for the NFL lead. He is one of only five quarterbacks with at least 2,000 passing yards after eight weeks.

Love is averaging 280.8 passing yards per game, which would put him on pace for 4,772 passing yards over 17 games. Aaron Rodgers holds the franchise record for passing yards in a season with 4,643, which he accomplished over only 15 games during his spectacular 2011 season. Love's 280.8-yard average would rank third in franchise history.

Love leads the NFL in passing attempts at 312. At his current pace of 39 attempts per game, Love would shatter the previous franchise record of 613, set by Brett Favre in 2006. Love is on pace for 663; only three times has a Packers quarterback attempted at least 600 passes in a season (Favre, 2006; Rodgers, 2016; Favre 2005).

Without a run game, the Packers have become ever more reliant on Love and his ability to move the ball through the air. There have been no signs of improvement in the run game, even with veteran offensive line additions and the return of Josh Jacobs, suggesting Love will need to continue carrying the offense with his right arm.

Overall, Love is on pace for 4,772 passing yards, 34 passing touchdowns and 12 interceptions. There have been only nine seasons by a quarterback in team history with at least 4,000 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns and fewer than 15 interceptions in a season -- Rodgers has seven, Favre has one and Love has one (2023).
