Luton manager Jack Wilshere had a fiery, physical clash with Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel after their League One meeting on Tuesday.
The Hatters won the game 2-1 thanks to goals from former Barnsley man Mads Anderson and Nahki Wells.
Makenzie Kirk got one back for the Tykes in the second half but it proved to be just a consolation and the South Yorkshire club remains in the relegation zone.
Wilshere and Stendel shook hands after the final whistle and it was unclear what sparked it, but the former England midfielder was obviously enraged.
He turned and shoved the Barnsley boss, before pointing his finger at him, while Stendel looked a little confused by the situation.
Coaching staff and players then got involved and there was a scuffle involving a lot of people, although it was classic football handbags really.
Asked about the dust-up, Wilshere gave little away, but said he has already moved on.
Jack Wilshere was NOT happy here đ

âThey want to win, we want to win, Iâve massive respect for them and what theyâre trying to do,â he said. âI know they havenât got the results but I can see what theyâre trying to do and theyâre a tough team to play against, theyâve got some good players.
âWe got the win at the end and it gets a little bit heated but you shake hands at the end and everyone moves on.â
Stendel also looked to brush the issue under the carpet, saying: âIt was a misunderstanding between me and Jack Wilshere.
âBut I tried to talk with him (after the game) and I think itâs not a big thing.â
Luton climb to 13th in League One thanks to the victory, with Wilshere saying: âGood three points. Thatâs what we came for tonight.
âWe knew we had to show courage. I thought the boys did that. Little bit of a similar feeling in terms of the chances we created. The boys, I think a few of them might be a little bit disappointed with that, but the good thing is that weâre still doing it. We played with real purpose. We arrived in dangerous areas. We we had threat constantly.
âI think probably why theyâd be disappointed is because you score two or three more at the end of the first half and the start of the second half, it probably takes the game away from them and then they score a good goal, they come back into the game and it makes it a little bit more difficult for us.
âThat being said, I thought we actually managed that that period really well. So really happy for the players.â
