Michael Carrick is under increasing pressure as Manchester United boss following the Red Devils' 4-1 battering by Como in the Champions League

Michael Carrick's job as manager of Manchester United is hanging by a thread after the Red Devils' chastening 4-1 defeat by Como in the Champions League.

To make matters worse, skipper Bruno Fernandes aimed a thinly-veiled dig at his boss after the game, something Carrick was forced to respond to in his press conference.

United have won just twice this season, once in the league and once in Europe, in 11 games across all competitions. They sit 13th in the Premier League table before welcoming Bournemouth to Old Trafford this weekend.

So, with increasing pressure on the United boss, should Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the club's hierarchy act and sack Carrick? Or does he deserve the chance to turn things around after his impressive record last term?

Have your say here.
