Rovers' teenage prodigy has been around the first team and was on the bench at the weekend against Wrexham.
He followed that up with a brace for the Under-21s and continues to impress in central midfield, as club legend David did.
A lifelong Rover, Dunn junior is hoping that his Rovers debut is just around the corner.
"I am hoping for many more experiences with the first team," he told RoversTV.
"I am really enjoying it at the minute; my performances are showing it.
"I am a Blackburn fan, so it's where I want to be. I want to play for this club as many times as I can.
"To be on the bench is a great experience for me. I love taking it all in.
"In training, I am working so hard every day to make sure I am the best player.
"The same in games and I hope when I get that opportunity, I am ready to take it.
"I am hoping it's me next but I am staying hungry and waiting for that time to come."

Dunn's brace sparked a second-half comeback for Paul Butler's side as they went from 2-0 down to 4-2 winners.
He scored the crucial goals which brought Rovers level, one from the penalty spot and another from outside the area; something of a collector's item.
"Happy to get two goals, that doesn't happen often for me!" he reflected.
"I was looking around on the pitch to see who was taking the penalty and thought that I may as well have it.
"I don't know why I even shot from there for my second; normally I'd try and slide someone in but I took it on.
"We knew once we scored the first, we could get the second and third, then the fourth took us too far away from them."
