Taking that massive leap from Tottenham academy football into the senior ranks is a defining moment for any young talent. Rania Oukriss is officially ready to embrace that exact challenge. The promising midfielder has secured a fantastic move to Portsmouth, an FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division outfit. The dual registration agreement will keep her on the south coast right through to the end of December, providing the perfect platform to test herself in a demanding and competitive environment.

A Sensational Run Of Form For Club And Country

This transition to senior football feels like the teenager’s natural next step. She has been climbing the ranks at Hotspur Way since her Under 15 days and truly caught the eye earlier this season. She bagged a brilliant hat-trick for the Under 19 squad during an impressive cup clash against London Bees back in August.

Her recent performances on the international stage have been just as explosive. Oukriss earned her maiden call up for the England Under 19 squad last month during their UEFA European qualifiers and wasted no time making an impact. She grabbed an assist barely sixty seconds into her debut against Switzerland, before finding the back of the net just seven minutes into her very first start against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Under the specific terms of this new arrangement, she gets the absolute best of both worlds. She will continue training in London on certain days of the week to maintain her connection with the parent club. That setup allows her to keep developing in familiar surroundings while simultaneously gaining vital matchday experience and handling senior training commitments with Portsmouth.
