Drew McIntyre has fueled speculation about his WWE return after sharing another training video on social media.
The former world champion has been absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania 42, where he lost to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match.
McIntyre’s absence has largely been attributed to his acting commitments, including roles in Highlander and The Last Druid. The Scottish Warrior has continued preparing for an eventual return while pursuing his Hollywood career.
The latest footage comes after McIntyre previously teased a potential comeback in September by sharing a video of himself running the ropes inside a wrestling ring. He captioned that post, “Reps,” prompting speculation about his WWE future.
McIntyre’s latest post features footage of him training in the ring with a sparring partner. The Scottish Warrior opens with a chinlock before unleashing a series of kicks and punches. He maintains control throughout the exchange, ending the session with a powerful big boot to his opponent.
“Complete control,” he wrote.
WWE has reportedly discussed bringing McIntyre back to television, with previous reports indicating that Monday Night RAW could be his destination. However, the company has yet to officially announce a return date.
McIntyre previously addressed his wrestling future during an interview, stating that he remains ready to return while focusing on his Hollywood projects. He also noted that he was in the best shape of his life and was keeping himself prepared for an eventual comeback.
