The Detroit Lions (5-2) announced a trio of Wednesday roster moves in preparation for Sunday's trip to Hard Rock Stadium to meet the Miami Dolphins (1-6).

As previously reported, the Lions officially signed linebacker K.J. Britt off the New England Patriots' practice squad to their active roster. Detroit also signed linebacker Joe Bachie to its active roster from their practice squad.

Lastly, the Lions signed linebacker Owen Pappoe to their practice squad. Pappoe visited the Lions on Tuesday. A 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker, Pappoe was originally a 2023 fifth-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals out of Auburn.

Pappoe has appeared in 50 career games with two starts, totaling 66 tackles, five passes defended, one forced fumble, and one quarterback hit. The 26-year-old began this season with the Titans, but he was waived on Sept. 26. After clearing waivers, the Titans signed Pappoe back to their practice squad. But, Pappoe was waived from the Titans' practice squad on Oct. 6.

Britt, a 6-foot, 240-pound linebacker, was signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Patriots from Miami in March. After being released during roster cuts, Britt was signed back to the Patriots' practice squad.

Britt appeared in all 17 games with one start for the Dolphins in 2025, recording 24 tackles, including a career-high 13 in his lone start against the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 12, 2025.

In his career, Britt has appeared in 77 games and started 16, totaling 162 tackles, four tackles for loss, three quarterback hits, three passes defended, and 0.5 sack.

Bachie is a 6-foot-2, 238-pound linebacker out of Michigan State. The 28-year-old has appeared in 68 games with seven starts, totaling 77 tackles and two passes defensed.

Bachie is in his first season with the Lions. Originally an undrafted free agent by the New Orleans Saints in 2020, Bachie has also spent time in the Philadelphia Eagles (2020), Cincinnati Bengals (2021-24), Indianapolis Colts (2025), and Titans' organizations.
