Ask King Green, and he'd likely tell you he's probably had more enjoyable stretches of life than the past couple months.

The longtime UFC lightweight turned the big 4-0 in early September, still riding the most impressive winning streak of his tenure in the promotion at four fights. He was coming off a $100,000 bonus-winning knockout and his four wins had come in just seven months.

But earlier this month, Green (36-18-1 MMA, 17-3-1 UFC) had his first fight in his 40s and was knocked out in the first round by Esteban Ribovics on the UFC 332 main card. Although he got 20 percent of Ribovics' purse because of a weight miss, he was miffed by referee Herb Dean's stoppage and has been mildly stewing about that.

Now, as if to add insult to injury proverbially – and possible actual injury given the circumstances – early Monday, Green video posted on a live stream showed his SUV being hit in a traffic accident.

The vehicle, Green said on the stream, is a custom Range Rover. Video showed the SUV smashed on the passenger side – "totaled," according to Green on the video.
