As part of a new exciting partnership between the two clubs, Horsham YM played host to Southwater Royals U16 girls as they defeated Eastbourne Borough in the cup.

It was the first time that Royals had played at YM's Herbert Direct Stadium, and their performance certainly lived up to the occasion. Having been 3-1 down at half-time, an inspired performance in the second half saw Royals come back to win 4-3 and advance through to the next round.

The partnership between the two clubs is designed to provide pathways into elite football for local players.

Royals U16s take on Jersey Bulls in their next fixture on Sunday 1st November.
