The 15-year-old defender also featured for the Young Lions as they were beaten 4-2 by Italy in their opening match earlier this week.

Wattley, who has transitioned from a striker to centre-half, will look to add to his caps as Neil Ryan's side face the hosts in their final game tomorrow.

He won his first caps for England at U16 level back in August, featuring in two friendlies in Italy, having been a regular with the U15s last season, winning eight caps and scoring one goal.

The young defender has been with the Blues' academy since the age of seven and made his Town U18s debut in March aged only 14. He is a regular for Town's U16 side.
