Wycombe's Conor Hazard called up to the Northern Ireland squad

The Chairboys’ first choice keeper, who has played 13 times for the Adams Park side since joining from Plymouth Argyle in the summer, has been chosen to play for his country in their upcoming Nations League fixtures against Ukraine and Hungary respectively.

The matches will occur on November 14 and 17, meaning that at the time of writing, he will miss Wycombe’s home match against Huddersfield Town on the former date.

This will mean second choice keeper Joe Wildsmith will deputise versus the Terriers, with Mikki Van Sas being promoted to back up.

Before that, Wycombe will take on Accrington Stanley in the first round of the FA Cup this weekend.

Hazard has played 11 times for his country since making his debut back in 2018.
