DULWICH Hamlet’s FA Cup second-round tie against Portishead Town has been selected for live TV coverage on TNT Sports.

Dulwich beat Newhaven 1-0 in the third qualifying round before a 2-1 win at Haringey Borough in the first round proper sent them into the second round for the first time in their history.

National League Division 1 South East Dulwich are one tier above Portishead, who play in the fifth-tier South West Regional Women’s Football League Premier Division.

“Nothing compares to the FA Cup,” Hamlet midfielder Lauren Heria told the club’s media. “It gives clubs like Dulwich the chance to complete on the biggest stage.

“And showcasing our team, our club and our fans live on TNT Sports is a dream come true.

“We’re ready to represent Dulwich with heart.”
