Last week, we all correctly predicted Town would lose at mighty Manchester City - really going out on a limb there - and thus collected a point each.
I trousered two more too, for guessing that Daizen Maeda would be Town's first scorer. Total fluke, ofc.
That means, after seven games, AI remains top of the table on 14 points.
Stu's still second with eight, then Ross and I are level on six, with former champion AJ dead last on three.
So, the cyborg still leads the way, but we've not given up hope yet - apart from AJ, that is...
Here's what we're all going for tonight! Remember the drill - we predict the result and first Town scorer.
The rules are:
Correct score: 3 pts
Correct result: 1 pt
Correct scorer: 2 pts (3 pts for a defender)
So the max score is 7 pts if we get the score bang on and back a defender to score first - and he does.
Here are our predictions!
Our predictions for tonight's match (Image: Newsquest)
Cyborg: 1-1, Emersonn
"I'd expect a competitive game rather than a thriller, with both teams having spells on top. Ipswich have enough to win it, but I'd be wary of underestimating Forest with Morgan Gibbs-White back in the team."
Stu: 1-1, Fatawu
"Forest may be short on goals, but they are creating plenty of chances and look well organised. I think this might be a score draw."
Me: 2-0, O'Shea
"I'm not as confident as I was before news emerged that Sasa Lukic would miss this game, but I still believe Town have enough to get the job done against a side struggling for form.
"I'm hoping Dara gets an early goal from a set piece and Town do a professional job from there, with a first clean sheet too."
Ross: 1-0, Clarke
"A game under the lights at Portman Road awaits for Gary O'Neil's side.
"I think it's going to be a scrap for the full 90 minutes with both sides cancelling each other out before Jack Clarke unleashes a trademark goal to clinch the win for the Blues and a first clean-sheet too."
AJ: 2-1, Fatawu
"I think this is a harder game than Forest’s form and league position suggests. I expect it’ll be really competitive, and even a bit of a scrap at times.
"A Liam Delap goal against Town is written in the stars, but I’ll back the Blues to win it from behind, 2-1, with Abdul Fatawu scoring first for Ipswich."
