All you need to know ahead of Chris Billam-Smith's cruiserweight clash with Cheavon Clarke in London live on Sky Sports.

Both Billam-Smith and Clarke are coming off victories in thrilling bouts last time out. Billam-Smith came through a bruising battle with the ferocious Ryan Rozicki in June, while Clarke rose from the canvas twice to take out Jack Massey on the same bill.

Clarke, who raced to winning the British title in nine fight, is looking to take his career to a new level.

Billam-Smith is a former world champion, seeking to return to the summit of the division. But he also has a score to settle with Clarke. The man from Gravesend handed him a painful amateur defeat in the final of the 2016 national elite championships and Billam-Smith wants his revenge.

Billam-Smith has a 22-2 (14) record. He has only been beaten by Richard Riakporhe, a loss which he later avenged, and then WBA world champion Gilberto Ramirez. As well as Riakporhe, he's beaten the likes of Lawrence Okolie, Brandon Glanton and Ryan Rozicki.

Clarke is 12-2 (9). A former British champion and European title challenger, Clarke is coming off a thrilling victory over Jack Massey, a former European champion and previous world title challenger.

What they say

Billam-Smith said: "He still carries his power, is fast, got power in all his shots.

"Cheavon isn't as intense as Rozicki - I'm not sure that anyone is - in terms of the way he fights. But he carries much more speed, which adds more danger.

"He puts his shots together well, so that makes him threatening for sure.

"I've sparred him as well. He's no mug. He knows what he's doing in there, he's always super-fit. He's been hurt in the past, he comes back, looks the part. Never been stopped, he might have been dropped but never been stopped.

"It's a hard night's work, I've got to be 100 per cent for it."

Clarke said: "The bull's always driven - but they get tamed. He'll come out with his tactics and everyone has a plan until they get in the ring. On the night we'll see.

"He's a former world champion so you have to give credit where it's due. But regardless I know what my ability is, I've been given a gift. It's wrong for me not to fulfil that gift. So come November 7 we will see."

London's Denzel Bentley fights Shane Mosley Jr, son of boxing legend Shane Mosley, in a world-class middleweight clash.

American heavyweight destroyer Da'Mazion Vanhouter will face Ivan Balaz. Vanhouter had an eye-opening performance on the Garcia vs Benn card in September, demolishing Raphael Akpejiori in the first round.

Scottish middleweight phenom Sam Hickey boxes Amaury Massenaux, while Kayla Allen has her second professional fight against Julia Igel.

Rising cruiserweight Lucas Roehrig will fight Scottish champion Connal McDonald in an eight-rounder.

In the streamed preliminary bouts British light-heavyweight contender Zach Parker will face unbeaten puncher Umar Dzambekov, plus Masood Abdulah fights 14-1 American contender Adan Palma and Vinnie "King of Violence" Kemp makes his pro debut.
