A year on from his stoppage loss to Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul has revealed when he will be back in the boxing ring.
Paul fought former two-time world champion Joshua in December last year and spent much of the early fight running before eventually being caught with a huge right hand that shattered his jaw and left him unable to continue.
Before that, he lost to Tommy Fury, and beat ageing fighters such as the 58-year-old Mike Tyson and former super middleweight ruler Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
He now has a record of 12 wins and two losses with seven KOs since making his professional debut back in January 2020.
In a new post on X, Paul revealed he is set to return on Christmas Eve in Dubai, before outlining his ambition and promising to knock out whoever he faces.
“All I want for Christmas Eve is boxing in Dubai. I’ve spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I’d face. Nothing that’s happened has changed my belief in myself or what I’m working toward.
“I’m hungrier than ever, and on Thursday, December 24, I’m returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey. Dubai is a city that thinks big, breaks boundaries, and doesn’t believe in limits. That’s exactly the kind of place I want to make my comeback.
“We’ve got plenty of names on the list; let’s see who signs the contract. Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody’s getting knocked out.”
Paul ha been linked with plenty of names in the past including the likes of former UFC fighters Darren Till and Francis Ngannou, Britain’s Chris Eubank Jr and WBC welterweight world champion Ryan Garcia.
Confirmation of which, if any, of those names it will be is expected in the coming weeks.
