Free agent NFL running back Joe Mixon has revealed that he traveled on the identical aircraft that went down in Florida over the weekend, claiming nine lives, and with the same two pilots.
The private jet was transporting seven passengers and two pilots when it was seen plummeting nose-first into a South Florida residential area before erupting in flames and being almost entirely destroyed.
Adam Robinson, 45, and his wife Helen Sharp, 40, were traveling on the aircraft with their two children when it went down near West Palm Beach, with the flight crew identified as 55-year-old captain Jeff Gregory and 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha.
One day following the disaster, Mixon disclosed he had flown on the very same aircraft with the identical two pilots last month.
"Absolutely devastated by yesterday's tragic plane crash in Florida and the loss of all nine lives," Mixon posted on Monday.
"I flew on that exact aircraft last month with those same two pilots. They were incredible professionals and genuinely wonderful people.

"Hearing the young woman's story and learning about the bright future she had ahead of her makes it even more heartbreaking that her life was cut so short.
"My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to the grieving families and loved ones of everyone on board. A tragic reminder of how fragile life is. Love on your loved ones while you can, because you never know what tomorrow may bring."
Robinson, Sharp, their two children, and the two pilots were traveling with Anita Maria Apellido Cetina - the family's nanny - along with two family friends, Charmi Fehr and Rachael Reed.

The Learjet 60 private aircraft took off from Austin-Bergstrom Airport in Texas and was heading toward North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas when the crew reported severe ice and moderate turbulence.
The aircraft plummeted at 32,000 feet per minute, approximately 363 miles per hour, during its descent.
The National Transportation Safety Board is examining the circumstances that preceded the crash.
It remains unclear precisely when Mixon was aboard the aircraft or his destination.
The running back is presently without an NFL team, having reached an agreement to sign with the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks before failing a physical examination amid doubts about his capacity to compete in the NFL again.
