Future MotoGP rider David Alonso returned to winning ways with a dominant win in Malaysia.

The Colombian finished almost two seconds ahead of teammate Dani Holgado in an impressive display.

Further down the order, another future MotoGP rider - Izan Guevara - finished fourth ahead of title rival Manu Gonzalez, closing the championship gap to three points with three races to go.
