Life has been breathed into Manchester United with this result. Here are the player ratings.

TalkingPoints

A truly incredible comeback as Man United come from 2-0 down to beat Roma 3-2! Give us your reaction

Senne Lammens – 5

Wasn’t that busy after the first 20 minutes or so, hard to score him higher than a 5.

Leny Yoro – 6.5

Had a few brilliant tackles, really grown into the shirt this season at a time when 90% of the squad have shrunk instead. Has a bright future here.

Harry Maguire – 5

Big threat offensively from corners, but just struggled slightly anytime he was being run at by Roma and lost the ball in worrying areas a few times.

Ayden Heaven – 6.5

Out of position for the Roma opener, and then gave away the penalty, perhaps unfortunately. But recovered really well and had a good second half, which says a lot about his mental strength.

Diogo Dalot – 6.5

A decent performance from the full-back. Won a lot of his duels fairly comfortably.

Carlos Baleba – 7

Was one of the positives for United right up until he went down with a hamstring injury. A real shame, as it probably sets him further back in his debut season and severely weakens the midfield.

Kobbie Mainoo – 8

Almost a solitary positive for United, he took the team on his shoulders at times by helping relieve pressure with some excellent runs. Unfortunately let down by the system and his teammates.

Amad – 4

Poor performance. Start Shea Lacey.

Bruno Fernandes – 6.5

Scored the penalty on the second time of asking and assisted the equaliser. A lot better than we’ve seen all season.

Matheus Cunha – 8.5

What a performance. Two goals, won the penalty, and single-handedly put life into the club. Top, top quality. Slightly dampened by a red card in the 91st minute, but his impact won’t be forgotten.

Bryan Mbeumo – 5

Missed a fantastic opportunity to make it 2-2 as it came off both posts and out. Didn’t really get many other opportunities.

Youri Tielemans – 6

Moved the ball around well, a positive introduction afte Baleba’s injury.

Lisandro Martinez – 5.5

Barely involved, at least he didn’t get himself sent off.

Shea Lacey – 8

Did more in one minute than Amad did in 70 or so, and assisted Cunha’s second goal. Absolutely needs to start this weekend. Massive talent and a huge statement to Carrick.

Mason Mount – 5

Matthijs de Ligt – 5
