Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has named a strong 37-man squad for November’s Nations Championship Tests, with one uncapped player included in the extended group.

Sione Tuipulotu will once again captain the side through the campaign, as they prepare to face the All Blacks, Australia and Japan across the month as well as play on finals weekend. Their placement for that is yet to be confirmed.

Townsend’s side currently sit second in the Northern Hemisphere pool with two wins and one loss from July’s block.

The only and only uncapped player in the squad is back-rower Ollie Leatherbarrow, who comes into the squad following a string of good performances for Newcastle Red Bulls in the early stages of the season. While this is his first senior inclusion, he does have 11 Scotland U20s caps to his name.

Elsewhere, Townsend has named as strong a group as possible for their tough block, with a number of his key generals included.

Huw Jones comes back into the mix after missing the July tour through injury, while the likes of Darcy Graham, Duhan van der Merwe, Zander Fagerson, Gregor Brown, George Horne, Blair Kinghorn, Ben White and Finn Russell have also been named.
