The Tennessee Titans are improving every week and appeared to put it all together on Sunday in one of their best games of the season. Unfortunately, they fell just short of pulling off an upset. The Titans (1-7) held their own on the road against AFC North leader Cincinnati, taking the Bengals to overtime in an exciting 43-36 loss.
Tennessee excelled in complementary football, receiving contributions from all three phases in the win. While many fans are busy critiquing the team’s growth, others are focused on the 2027 NFL Draft, where Tennessee now has two first-round picks after trading Jeffery Simmons to the Chicago Bears.
With the loss and their strength of schedule, Tennessee would hold the second pick in the draft if the season ended today, falling behind the winless Los Angeles Chargers in Tankathon's current draft order.
At this point, it is virtually impossible to predict the exact location of their second selection, although it appears destined to be late in the round. Tankathon currently has them slotted in the 28th spot, but there is still a lot of football left.
