Football fans can watch one of the biggest matches in European football for free on BBC Two tonight as AC Milan take on Inter Milan in the latest instalment of the famous Milan derby.

The two Italian giants meet at the San Siro, with the Derby della Madonnina providing a mouthwatering occasion on Halloween night.

And there is an added bonus for viewers in the UK, with the match being broadcast live on BBC Two rather than being confined to a subscription sports channel.

What time is AC Milan vs Inter Milan tonight?

The match takes place on Saturday, October 31, at the San Siro in Milan.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7.45pm UK time.

It is the first Milan derby of the 2026/27 Serie A season, with both clubs having plenty to play for as they look to establish themselves at the top of the Italian league.

The match will be shown live on BBC Two, meaning viewers can watch the action without needing a subscription to a dedicated sports broadcaster.

Coverage begins at 7.40pm, five minutes before kick-off.

The game will also be available to stream live through BBC iPlayer, allowing viewers to watch on smartphones, tablets, computers and compatible smart TVs.

Why are the BBC showing the Milan derby?

The BBC's decision to broadcast the match is part of a wider agreement to bring Italian football back to free-to-air television in the UK.

The broadcaster has secured a package of 38 Serie A matches for the 2026/27 season, providing coverage across BBC platforms.

The arrangement includes 19 matches on BBC ALBA, featuring Gaelic-language commentary alongside English commentary, while a further 19 games are made available through BBC Sport and BBC iPlayer.

The agreement builds on an arrangement which began during the previous season and has now been expanded for the current campaign.

While DAZN continues to hold extensive Serie A broadcasting rights in the UK and Ireland, the BBC agreement provides another opportunity for supporters to watch Italian football without paying for a dedicated sports subscription.
