The Washington Commanders are finally victorious. On Sunday night, after falling behind 10-0 in the first quarter, Washington scored 27 unanswered points to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-10 in their second win of the season.
It was a much-needed victory for Washington, which hadn’t won since Week 3 over Seattle. Since then, there have been penalty issues — some legit, others not so much — strange coaching decisions, situational awareness issues for the coaches and the quarterback and the embarrassing end-of-game gaffe against the Giants that led to a tie. That's a lot to process over the last five weeks.
Early on Sunday night, it looked like another embarrassing prime-time performance from Washington. However, quarterback Jayden Daniels gathered his team after four offensive penalties in the first quarter; everyone calmed down, and the rest was history.
So, if you were following along on social media, you probably saw reactions from early and late. And they were very different. As we do each week, let’s head over to X — formerly Twitter — to assess some of the best reactions from start to finish in the Commanders’ 27-10 win.
