Fullerians RFC are celebrating a fantastic achievement for two U18s Girls members.

Berynne Shiels and Zara Barringer have been invited to the England U18 Women’s Rugby training camp. Barringer returns to the squad with five caps already. For Shiels, this is her first opportunity to represent England on the rugby pitch.

The squad came together for a three-day development camp at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre from Friday, December 11.

James Cooper, England U18 Women’s head coach, said: “We’re delighted to bring the squad together for the first time this season. The opening camp is an exciting opportunity for players to showcase abilities, build connections and embrace expectations of the England pathway. We have a talented group of young players and this camp will be an important step in their development. We’re looking forward to seeing players challenge themselves and learn.”

Fullerians RFC said: “We are so proud of your accomplishments and know you’ll be brilliant representatives of the fantastic Fullerians U18S.”
