Eastleigh 4-2 Boston United

Aaron Blair scored a hat-trick as Eastleigh overcame Boston 4-2 in a thrilling contest in the National League.

Blair twice gave the Spitfires the lead in the first half only for his efforts to be cancelled out by a Lenell John-Lewis penalty and a Jake Rooney strike.

Dion Rankine's volley restored Eastleigh's lead on the hour after Ollie Bostock had been denied at the other end by Nick Townsend.

Ken Aboh put the ball in the net as Boston finished strongly but it was ruled out for handball and Blair wrapped up the contest in added time.

Harrogate Town 3-1 Sutton United

A blistering spell of three goals in five first-half minutes saw second-placed Harrogate record a fifth successive National League victory as they beat Sutton United.

Substitute George Thomson played a pivotal role after replacing the injured Will McGowan just before the half-hour.

First he teed up Bailey Hobson to fire home from the edge of the penalty area for his fifth goal in seven games before scoring the third just eight minutes after coming on, converting Ethan Bristow's pass.

In between, Brad Dolaghan intercepted a pass out of defence and Josh Hmami rolled the ball into an empty net.

Ben Brookes' 74th-minute consolation reduced the deficit to 3-1 but could not prevent Sutton's poor run being extended to just one win in the last 10 games.
