Ahead of tonight’s game between AC Milan and Bournemouth, Omari Hutchinson spoke to the media and admitted that it will be a tough one.
Milan are riding on some confidence after the 4-0 and 3-2 wins against Salzburg and Atalanta respectively, bouncing back after the international break. However, a tough task awaits them against Bournemouth this evening.
Ruben Amorim has made six changes to the starting eleven, a rotation we have become used to in the Europa League, and Omari Hutchinson is one of the players getting the chance. Considering how well he played in the last competition outing, it will be interesting to see what he can do.
Speaking to Sky Italia just a few minutes ago, as transcribed by MilanNews, Hutchinson discussed the game, being back in England, and in what position he can do the most good for Milan. By the sound of it, he’s just excited to be playing.
What are your feelings?
“It’ll be a tough match, but I can’t wait for it to start, and I think everyone in the team shares that feeling. Many of the new arrivals have never experienced an atmosphere like this, so we have to guide them and be ready straight away.
“It’s wonderful to be back in England. My whole family will be there tonight, and that’s an added bonus. It will be a fantastic match.”
Is this the right formation?
“Wherever the coach decides to deploy me, my goal is always to give my all and do my best. Position on the pitch isn’t a problem for me at all. As long as I’m playing, I’m happy and just want to enjoy football.”
On the need to win…
“We simply have to give 100% and do our best in every situation. Our goal is to try to win every match, no matter what opponent we face. We are Milan: we must take the field with the firm belief that we want to win and be ready for any battle.”
