Karl-Anthony Towns seemingly injured his wrist against the Chicago Bulls, but returned later in the game to deliver a strong performance.
The Knicks are finally back to winning ways, earning their second win of the season against the Chicago Bulls on the road.
During the game, Karl-Anthony Towns had to go back to the locker room after injuring his wrist in the first quarter after a collision with Bulls star Noa Essengue.
During his post-game press conference following the New York Knicks’ win over the Chicago Bulls, Mike Brown responded to a question about the nature of Karl-Anthony Towns’ wrist injury.
In his typically sarcastic tone, Brown joked that Towns was still able to make shots from deep, and the wrist didn’t seem to bother him.
"He was still shooting that thang from 30 feet 😆 so the wrist looked OK to me"

Towns would end up leaving the game after a collision with Noa Essengue during the first quarter. Some fans were worried that he wouldn’t return to the game.
However, Towns decided to tough it out, taping his wrists and returning to the game to help the Knicks pull off a much-needed win.

Towns ended the game with a double-double, putting up 19 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and a steal, while shooting 50% from both the field and from beyond the arc.
Losing Towns to a long-term injury would have only compounded the poor start the Knicks have made this season, especially considering the circumstances.
The Knicks started the season 0-3, becoming the first NBA Champions to lose their first three games since the 2011 Dallas Mavericks.
On top of that, given the stalemate Towns and the Knicks are in over a new contract, an extended absence from the team would have caused trade rumours to intensify.
