How do you think Cohen and Shaw are doing? Do you think we will stay up?

Just, in general, what are your views on the season so far?

I think Shaw and Cohen are doing a great job and clearly work really well as a management team, they clearly know how to get the best out of players.

Yes I think we will stay up because we are really starting to adjust to Championship level. Millwall and today clearly demonstrate that.

This season is amazing we are not only in The Championship something I never thought I would see in my wildest dreams but we are competing with and matching some quality sides.

What an amazing time to be an Imp.

Shaw and Cohen are learning with every game. You have to remember that they are new to the role of head coach. Being assistants you can hide behind the main man to a degree and not have to do the whole job including speaking to the press whilst keeping a full squad of players happy.
They both clearly have an excellent relationship with the players. That helps enormously.
You won't hear either of them air any dirty laundry in public which is why questions about why is (insert name here) not playing are pointless because they will never throw an individual under a bus.
Our last two games have seen a huge improvement in goals scored. 6 in 2 after 7 in 10. These last two games we have gone with a back 4 to start both games and as a consequence the number of players in the opposition box has significantly increased. This shows they are learning and are willing to say that if Plan A isn't working let's try something else. Shows a flexibility which will help us.
Today they resisted the go to a back 5 to hold onto the lead when ahead. I hope that, within reason, is maintained and only used sparingly.

Will we stay up? I think so. There will be a lot of twists and turns but other than the West Ham game we have been in every single match this season in The Championship, and we all know that was something of an anomaly due to the actions in the first 20 minutes.

If we maintain the levels shown in the first 45 at Millwall and the second 45 today, the sky is the limit for us.

That defeat against West Ham, as the season progresses, might strangely turn out to be something of a blessing in disguise. It does seem that it allowed the two head coaches to take the shackles off a bit more.

Again evidence of them learning from each and every game.

I think they, and the players, are learning. The Boro game was a great opening but, in my view, left us with a skewed view of the Championship and we played within ourselves for more than a few games.

The last two games have really shown what we can do when we take the game to the opposition. They'll be times when we will still get taken to the cleaners but we're good enough to stay in this league. The Blades away game and then West Ham appears to have shifted the game plan a little to be more attacking and has driven a different starting 11 as well.

So we're on a journey. I think we are probably a couple of points light of where we could have been.

Today I think we were close to our best starting 11 (maybe Ivan instead of McGrandles) and that's always a good place to be.

So I'd give them a "promising start" and a B on the report so far.

I think we are going to be fine.
