Inter Milan are reportedly keen to secure a contract extension for Marcus Thuram (29), according to information from Sky Sport.
Although currently under contract with the Nerazzurri until June 2028, the French forward would nevertheless like to take his time before discussing the matter, as he is currently prioritising his performances on the pitch. This move is part of the Milan club’s strategy to extend the contracts of several of their key players, such as Federico Dimarco (28), Hakan Çalhanoğlu (32) and Carlos Augusto (27).
Fresh from a 2025-26 campaign in which he scored 18 goals and provided nine assists in 44 appearances for Inter, Thuram has made a consistent start to the season, with five goals and four assists already in 12 matches across all competitions.
Having been omitted from Zinédine Zidane’s first squad under his tenure as France manager, the player with 35 caps (three goals) for Les Bleus could be one of the surprises in the November squad.
