WWE AAA: New signings we could soon see join the brand

In April 2025, WWE announced the acquisition of Lucha Libre promotion AAA, with the company now serving as a subsidiary of WWE.

Over the past year and a half, AAA has continued to grow in popularity, with several main roster WWE stars appearing on the brand, as well as Rey Fenix defending the AAA Cruiserweight Championship on Raw and SmackDown.

As we head towards 2027, there are a number of new faces we could soon see arrive on the brand.

Here are some potential new WWE AAA signings coming soon.

Taya Valkyrie

AEW's Taya Valkyrie

Last night, it was confirmed by Taya Valkyrie that she had opted to leave All Elite Wrestling following the expiration of her contract.

During her career, Taya has wrestled all over the world, including a notable run in AAA, with her even being a part of Los Perros del Mal prior to the group’s revival earlier this year.

With Taya now a free agent and AAA in need of more women’s wrestlers, she would make a great pick up for the brand to bring experience and recognition to the division.

Sin Cara

It was recently reported that there had been discussions within WWE about potentially bringing back the Sin Cara character.

The character was initially portrayed by Mistico upon signing with the company, with Hunico then taking over the character after Mistico was let go from the company.

It was noted that the early discussions were for Myzteziz Jr to portray the character should it make it’s return.

If WWE does bring Sin Cara back, him finding a home in AAA to become the company’s own legacy character would be a fun role for him.

Xena

After departing STARDOM earlier this year, Xena has been a free agent, with speculation about where she could land in the future.

Daga, the real-life partner of Xena, made his return to AAA as part of the reformed Los Perros del Mal, which led to many suspecting that Xena would also be joining the AAA roster when she does reappear.

Much like with Taya, the AAA roster is in much need of more women’s wrestlers and challengers for La Catalina’s Reina de Reinas Championship, which would make Xena a great addition to a growing AAA roster heading into the new year.
