Brazilian Grand Prix: How to Watch the F1 Race, Schedule and Start Times

It's a victory lap for Kimi Antonelli in São Paulo, while the Constructors' Championship is still up for grabs.

F1 driver George Russell looking onwards, resting his chin on his hands.
George Russell's disappointing end to the season has seen him slip to fourth in the Drivers Championship standings, but the British star can still have a big say in helping Mercedes claim the Constructors' Championship this weekend.

With Kimi Antonelli wrapping up the Drivers’ title last weekend, attention now turns to the Constructors’ Championship as the 2026 Formula One season heads to South America for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Despite experiencing an oil leak late in the race, Antonelli managed a third-place finish in last Sunday’s Mexican GP to ensure he became the youngest-ever Drivers’ Championship winner at the age of 20 years and 68 days. That race saw Red Bull’s Max Verstappen continue his recent good form with another top-of-the-podium finish ahead of Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton.

With Antonelli crowned, Mercedes will want to close out the season in perfect style. The Constructors’ Championship is in the team’s grasp this weekend at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos. The Silver Arrows enjoy a 126-point lead over Ferrari with just four rounds remaining, and need to outscore their Italian rivals by just three points this weekend to claim their first championship since 2021.

The São Paulo Grand Prix takes place this Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo. The weekend starts with practice on Friday, Nov. 6, and runs until Sunday, Nov. 8. Free Practice 1 is Friday at 12:30 p.m. BRT local time (10:30 a.m. ET) in Brazil, with Free Practice 2 following later in the day at 4 p.m. BRT local time (2 p.m. ET), while Free Practice 3 takes place on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 11:30 a.m. BRT local time (9:30 a.m. ET).

Qualifying takes place on Saturday at 3 p.m. BRT. That makes it a 1 p.m. ET or 10 a.m. PT start. UK viewers can watch at 6 p.m. GMT, while Australian fans can tune in at 5 a.m. AEDT on Sunday.

The Grand Prix itself starts on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. BRT. That makes it a 12 p.m. ET or 9 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada. For viewers in the UK, the race starts at 5 p.m. GMT. Australian F1 fans, meanwhile, can tune in at 4 a.m. AEDT on Monday, Nov. 9.
