Third seed Ben Shelton of the United States came from a set down to beat France’s Luca Van Assche 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday in the semi-finals of the Paris Masters 1000.
He is the first American finalist at the Rolex Paris Masters since Jack Sock in 2017. He is also the first American man to reach multiple Masters 1000 finals in a season since Andy Roddick in 2010. His previous finals at that level, in Toronto in 2025 and Montreal in 2026, both ended with the trophy.
