Arsenal predicted XI vs Slavia Prague as Ezri Konsa rested and William Saliba decision made

Here is our predicted Arsenal XI to face Slavia Prague in the Champions League on Wednesday evening

Arsenal are looking to record their second Champions League away win over Slavia Prague in as many years when they square off with their Czech counterparts at the Fortuna Arena on Wednesday evening.

The Gunners are looking to build on last Sunday's 1-0 win at Anfield on top of the recent European draw at Bayern Munich which took Arsenal's points tally to seven from their opening three league phase fixtures.

Mikel Arteta is expected to rotate against Slavia with one eye on the club's final Premier League fixture before the international break when Hull City visit the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

David Raya will still start in goal over Kepa Arrizabalaga and Illan Meslier, who started last week's Carabao Cup fourth-round defeat at Fleetwood Town.

At the back, Ben White will return in place of Jurrien Timber while Cristhian Mosquera will also come back into the starting XI.

Gabriel Magalhaes should partner him but it's not ruled out that Piero Hincapie could play at centre-back with Myles Lewis-Skelly slotting in at left-back.

The likelihood is that Gabriel features and Hincapie plays at left-back, leaving Lewis-Skelly to play in midfield alongside Spaniard Martin Zubimendi.

William Saliba could get minutes from the bench but the Frenchman is not currently expected to start for the Gunners.

Zubimendi has had a rough time of late in terms of injuring his ankle and breaking his nose against Everton but this has to be a game where he starts.

Ahead of him, Max Dowman should take his spot on the right instead of Noni Madueke, who needs a rest following a tough shift at Anfield.

In the No.10 role, Mikel Merino could start after conducting the club's pre-match media duties and on the left, Eberechi Eze could start if he is passed fit to play following his Anfield fitness issue.

In attack, Viktor Gyokeres should start ahead of Kai Havertz, despite the German's crucial first-half winner at Anfield.

ARSENAL (4-2-3-1): Raya; White, Mosquera, Gabriel, Hincapie; Zubimendi, Lewis-Skelly; Dowman, Merino, Eze; Gyokeres.
