Dana White has had an ongoing beef with Bob Menery dating back nearly five years, but the UFC CEO stooped to new lows this month after trolling Menery for his victory at Brand Risk 16.
In case you missed it, Menery returned to the combat arena on Oct. 16 to fight content creator and little person, Lorenzo “Big Zo” Jordan. Menery had already lost to former football star Johnny Manziel earlier this year and fought to a no contest last August against Osiris Williams, so the pressure was on to capture a win in his third trip to the ring.
Menery, who had a 13-inch height advantage, needed just one round to utilize his size and put a beating on Jordan (highlights HERE). It certainly wasn’t pretty or fair at that, but Menery did what he needed to do to earn his first official combat sports win. If Menery was feeling proud about his victory then he was quickly brought back down to reality by some of the reaction.
According to Menery, White texted him after his victory over Jordan to talk some trash. The UFC CEO allegedly trashed Menery’s win over a “3-foot dude” while suggesting Menery’s next fight will come against a little girl. Pretty brutal stuff.
Check it out below:
“He basically said, ‘Congratulations, you beat a 3-foot dude...Probably your next fight is a 9-year-old girl, and I’m taking the 9-year-old girl.’”
