Vanessa Bellini, the former partner of tennis player Matteo Berrettini, has broken her silence about what in Italy has been dubbed the "Berrettini case".

I tolerate all the nonsense they say and write, and I simply let it go. But to say that I would have betrayed Matteo? Please!

Following the rumors of alleged infidelity that may have led to their distancing after a year-long relationship, the dancer responded directly on Instagram to a comment: "I tolerate all the nonsense they say and write, and I simply let it go (I read a lot, but I've learned that this is how the world works). But to say that I would have betrayed Matteo? Please! Wash your mouth out before speaking."

This week, various speculations have circulated suggesting that Vanessa Bellini may have had a romance with Lorenzo Musetti, a tennis player and close friend of Berrettini.

Matteo Berrettini has unfollowed his friend Lorenzo Musetti following the infidelity rumors

Matteo Berrettini, Wimbledon runner-up in 2021, has recently unfollowed Lorenzo Musetti on Instagram.

Rumors intensified when, during the Vienna tournament, Berrettini was asked whether Musetti's recent title in Lyon served as "inspiration" for him.

Berrettini did not respond immediately and, after asking "is this live?", offered with some awkward laughter a response that seemed quite measured: "That's good. I know he worked very hard to come back and I suppose he deserved it."

For his part, Musetti, who has been in a relationship with Veronica Confalonieri since 2022, has not publicly commented on the rumors.
