William Saliba And Christos Tzolis To Start: Ezri Konsa Out: Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Hull City

Arsenal will be keen to go into the international break on a high by securing all three points against Hull City this weekend.

The Tigers cannot be underestimated. Since being promoted, Sergej Jakirovic’s side have lost just twice, conceding 10 goals, in nine games.

You would still back the Premier League champions to come out on top, but Mikel Arteta’s men may have to work for it.

Press the next page as we share our Arsenal predicted lineup to take on Hull at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon…

Goalkeeper and Defence

David Raya

GK – David Raya – the 31-year-old will be aiming for his 7th clean sheet in 10 league games this season.

RB – Jurrien Timber – Arteta is now making a habit of rotating his two right-backs, with the Dutchman set to replace Ben White, who started against Slavia Prague midweek.

CB – William Saliba – Arteta has hinted that Ezri Konsa is carrying a knock, and that may lead to Saliba starting his first game of the season after recovering from a back injury.

CB – Gabriel – the Brazilian international will relish the physical battle with Hull striker Oli McBurnie.

LB – Riccardo Calafiori – after being rested midweek, the Italian is set to be recalled on Saturday.

Midfield

Bruno Guimaraes

CM – Bruno Guimaraes – Martin Zubimendi played well against Slavia Prague, and Myles Lewis-Skelly has not let anyone down this season.

However, it does appear as if Guimaraes has won the battle (for now) to partner Rice in the middle of the park.

CM – Declan Rice – there is a danger of the 27-year-old being overplayed once again after he left on the pitch for the full 90 minutes on Wednesday. Hopefully, it doesn’t affect his performance this weekend.

AM – Martin Odegaard – the Gunners will need their captain’s creativity to unlock a stubborn Hull defence.

Forwards

Tzolis

RW – Noni Madueke – the winger’s goal against Slavia Prague should do him the world of good. His lack of end product can be frustrating at times, but he is always a threat.

ST – Kai Havertz – despite scoring midweek, you get the feeling that Arteta will drop Viktor Gyokeres and recall Havertz, who scored the winner at Anfield last weekend.

LW – Christos Tzolis – Eberechi Eze was lively on Wednesday, but he doesn’t have the trust of his manager.

Even though Tzolis has only been at the club for a few months, Arteta has already shown a preference for the Greek international on the left flank.
