Exmouth RFC Under-12s Girls in Devon was awarded £1,200 by housebuilder Charles Church through its Community Champions scheme, which is run in conjunction with sister company Persimmon Homes.
The funds will be used to purchase new kits and equipment for the team.
Stacey Harris, South West sales director for Charles Church and Persimmon Homes, said: "Our Community Champions scheme has a proud history of supporting local sports clubs, particularly its youngest members, and we a pleased to once again do this through this donation to Exmouth RFC Under 12s Girls.
"It is really impressive to see how rugby provision for girls has proven so popular in Exmouth and wish the team every success for the future."
Exmouth Rugby Club, founded in the 19th century, currently fields five female teams, from Under-12s through to its senior women's squad.
The club has current players competing at County level, for College Academy squads, and in the England U18’s development squad.
Amelia King, who helps manage the Under-12s girls team, said: "We are incredibly grateful to Persimmon Homes and Charles Church for their support shown to our U12 girls and local grassroots rugby.
"Their backing has helped to ensure our ever-growing number of passionate girls have the opportunity to compete and represent Exmouth Rugby Club in a high-quality new kit.
"The girls will be wearing their kit with pride both on and off the pitch."
Exmouth Rugby Club celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2025, a milestone year that also coincided with the Women’s Rugby World Cup, which helped boost the profile and participation in women’s rugby nationally and locally.
Alongside its female teams, the club also fields three senior men’s teams, a Colts side, and 12 junior squads.
