Omar Marmoush is really struggling at Tottenham. Through 8 Premier League games on loan he has 1 goal and 0 assists, with only 5 of his 16 shots on target. That’s a long way from the player who had 15 goals and 9 assists in 17 Bundesliga games for Frankfurt before City signed him. He’s 27, he knows the league, and he can play centrally or wide, so he’d be a good backup for both Kane and Díaz.
January probably isn’t realistic because Spurs are obligated to buy him next summer for £50m plus add-ons. But if he’s still misfiring by then, Bayern could offer Spurs a deal like the one we did for Jackson. A loan fee with an obligation to buy that only kicks in if he starts enough games. Spurs get some money back, we get a proven Bundesliga forward with little risk, and he gets his career back on track. Would you do it?
