Bears clip out Luther Burden III's disrespectful act toward Seahawks fans in touchdown video
: Luther Burden III #10 of the Chicago Bears celebrates a play against the Seattle Seahawks

The Chicago Bears have edited DeAndre Smith's touchdown video to remove a moment involving Luther Burden III, who appeared to make a disrespectful gesture toward Seattle Seahawks fans.

The Bears secured a 34-17 victory over the Seahawks on Monday night, with Swift scoring three second-half touchdowns to help Chicago pull away. After taking a 13-9 lead into halftime, Swift extended the advantage with a one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. He added two more five-yard scores in the fourth, including one shortly after Seattle had cut the deficit to 20-17.

Following Smith's second touchdown, Burden appeared to taunt Seattle fans by gesturing toward the home crowd and telling them to quiet down.

The moment was subsequently absent from the Bears' video celebrating Smith's touchdown.

Away from the incident, Burden played an important role in Chicago's victory, continuing to establish himself as a reliable target for quarterback Caleb Williams. The second-year receiver caught all four of his targets during a 17-play, 80-yard drive, capping it with a one-yard touchdown.

He also kept the drive alive with a five-yard reception on third-and-four before producing the Bears' first explosive passing play with a 23-yard gain. Burden finished the night with seven receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown.

Williams also impressed, throwing for 247 yards and completing 71% of his passes without committing a turnover. He was sacked just once against one of the NFL's toughest defenses.

Bears head coach Ben Johnson praised his quarterback's composure after the game, saying: "We knew it was going to be challenging and this was one of the more elaborate game plans in terms of what we were asking (Williams) to do as well. He stayed calm and collected throughout. I think that there are some times where it can get a little bit chaotic and yet he didn't allow that to happen."

Jeffery Simmons also made an immediate impact in his first game for Chicago after arriving from Tennessee in a trade last week that included two first-round picks.

The defensive tackle recorded a sack on Seattle's opening drive, added another tackle for loss and finished with six tackles and a pass defended. His performance helped the Bears limit the Seahawks to 252 total yards and just one conversion on 11 third-down attempts.

The defeat leaves the defending Super Bowl champions with three losses in their last four games, putting their position in the NFC playoff race under pressure. It also ended Seattle's 30-game streak without losing by more than four points, the fourth-longest run of its kind in the Super Bowl era.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald did not hide his disappointment after the defeat, saying: "We got beat. No other way to sugar coat it. When you look at the things that it takes to win in our league, we didn't do those things and they did."

The Bears will look to build on their victory when they return home to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night.
