Okehampton’s under-8 rugby team is asking residents to like its Facebook photo to help it reach the Bradfords Community Cup final and watch Exeter Chiefs play.

Exeter Chiefs are giving youth rugby teams across Devon the chance to play at their home ground, Sandy Park, and watch them face the Nottingham Saints in March.

Backed by Bradfords Building Supplies, the Chiefs have launched a social media competition asking teams to post photos online. The four teams whose photos receive the most likes will visit the stadium for a tag festival and watch a match.

At the time of writing, under-8 coach Stuart Bennie said the team had more than 500 likes, placing it among the leaders.

The competition runs until March 2027.
