Kidderminster Harriers picked up another famous FA Cup win for as they got a dream win against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday afternoon to cruise into the second round.

The Enterprise National League side Kidderminster Harriers conceded an early free-kick right from the kick-off in the FA Cup first round and looked shaky in defense in the opening couple of minutes. There were some nervous touches from the Harriers defenders as soon as they kicked-off against the League One side.

The home side soon settled down as Callum Stewart won an early corner from a good ball from Sam Austin, who started in the No.10 role and had an imposing presence in attack in the first half. Austin then received the ball short from the corner, and whipped the ball in, but it deflected out for a Doncaster goal kick.

There was a half-chance for Doncaster in the 9th minute as Nixon ran down the right flank and crossed the ball in to Alfie May, who could not quite get the ball in the face of the Harriers goal. Kidderminster immediately counter-attacked, but lacked composure in the final third.

For the opening 20 minutes, Harriers looked very comfortable in possession in an open and expansive game. Whilst Doncaster played with width, and a high defensive line, they really struggled to keep tabs on the Harrier's front line.

But in the 23rd minute, the National League side, one of many non-league teams to have made their mark on the FA Cup, scored the game's opener. Lewis Walker found an inch of space in the box, and his first-time shot hit the post, but luckily for the centre-forward, it rebounded back to him, and he reacted quickly to find the bottom left-hand corner, giving Doncaster goalkeeper Joshua Clarke no chance with the rebound.

Sam Austin and Maz Kouyhar linked up very well before Lewis Walker gets another decent chance in the 33rd minute as he took a shot in the penalty area. After losing balance, he managed to get something on the ball as he was determined to get his brace. His attempt went just wide.

Harriers were firing on all cylinders, gaining plenty of momentum in the first half, looking very confident in the final third, where the Doncaster defense was giving far too much space for Walker to run in to, and they doubled their lead not long after.

In the 36th minute, Walker finds space once more down the right flank, and passedthe ball calmly into Maz Kouyhar across the face of goal, who then rolls the ball into an open net.

Doncaster missed a clear-cut chance in the 57th minute, as Isaac Hutchinson hesitated with the ball and shot wide with just the keeper to beat, after Cian Harries gave the ball away in the penalty area.

In the 59th minute, Kidderminster Harriers made it 3-0 after an initial save from Clarke. As the ball was driven low into the box, David Davis followed up on the rebound, the home supporters at the Aggborough notched up the decibels as the home side scored their third goal of the game.

Robbie Gotts was the best performer in an otherwise disappointing display for the third-tier side. In the 81st minute, he worked hard to find an opportunity for himself, and then struck the ball hard towards goal, which was blocked by Richard Faakye as Harriers got the clean sheet.

There was a roar from the crowd as the referee blew the final whistle, whilst the proud Harriers fans applauded their team in this shocking defeat. A big contrast as the boos reigned in from the away end.
