Matt Hardy will team with Moose to face SyX at TNA Destination X, seeking revenge for the brutal attack on his brother Jeff Hardy. Last week, SyX brutally attacked Jeff during a cinematic segment. The attack even suggested that the legendary wrestler might have died.

Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw separated Jeff from Matt Hardy. They then placed a metal trash can over his head. Both men repeatedly struck it with fireman’s axes. Jeff was left motionless after the assault. The segment raised serious questions about Jeff’s future. However, Matt Hardy is now preparing to fight back.

Matt Hardy and Moose set for TNA Destination X match against syX

On TNA Impact, Moose opened the show by discussing his recent chat with Matt Hardy. Hardy had previously told him to rediscover his best self. Moose then announced that he would target Sawyer and Shaw.

However, the SyX members quickly interrupted his promo. They came out and attacked Moose inside the ring. Matt Hardy soon arrived with a steel pipe. He made the save and chased the SyX away.

Hardy and Moose later confirmed their challenge in a backstage segment. They will now join forces against SyX at Destination X. Meanwhile, Jeff Hardy remains out of action following the attack. TNA’s storyline injury report revealed his condition. He reportedly suffered several injuries and he would remain out indefinitely.

With Jeff sidelined, Matt will team up with Moose at TNA Destination X to settle the score with SyX.
