Amad might be one of the players who are in fairly good form this season, but what he’s done recently makes Wayne Rooney sick.
It’s hard to please anyone, regardless of your form, when the team you play for is underperforming as badly as Man Utd right now.
Let's talk Manchester United RELEGATION
After finishing the last season in title-contending form, Michael Carrick has this team squarely in a relegation fight this season.
Amidst this collapse, what Amad did recently makes Wayne Rooney sick. He’s had enough of it.
Amad is usually not someone who rocks the boat or is unprofessional publicly to stoke the flames of controversy at Old Trafford.
He has been responsible for the odd passive-aggressive social media post, but he’s largely one of the players who play for the manager until the very end.

17th in the table – Do United need to take finishing in the bottom three as a serious threat? How worried are YOU about the R word?
He didn’t even make a huge deal out of getting ignored by Erik ten Hag, so there was no way he would betray Carrick, who has stood by him through thick and thin.
Having said that, what the Ivorian posted after the 2-0 loss to Chelsea was the final straw that broke the camel’s back for Wayne Rooney.
Amad put out a message saying that he was “so excited” for the eventual bounceback from this current predicament, and Rooney was in no mood to listen.
Speaking on The Overlap, Rooney said: “To be fair to Amad, he works hard. He does. He works extremely hard. But if you played in that position, you have to score. You have to assist. He’s put himself in some great positions.
I’m sick of hearing all these posts and seeing all this whatever. Just do your talking on the pitch. That’s all that everyone wants to see. Go out there and perform on the pitch!”
Rooney is likely speaking for a lot of Man Utd fans who will echo this sentiment, because they have endured these social platitudes for far too long without anything to show for it.
Nobody is excited by the prospect of a bounce back anymore. They want to see it happen.
